How to move measurement templates to the New Libraries

Why are we deprecating measurement templates?

Currently, when you save a measurement template in personal and organization templates, limited information is saved with them i.e card title, and size columns (highlighted). Non-size columns such as Tol (+) and Tol (-), sub-measurements, and how to measure images will be excluded. 

To enable you to save your entire card data (including the files & comments attached, size-measurements, and even custom columns) in your libraries and to be able to reuse them in other techpacks, we introduced the NEW libraries. 

In this chapter, you will learn how to move your measurement templates from personal and organization templates to the NEW libraries

Step 1: Click inside any techpack folders from your My Organization page.

Step 3: Inside your blank techpack, go to the measurement section. Click on this icon located on the top-right to import an existing measurement template that you wish to move to the New Libraries.

Step 5:  Now, open your library shortcut by licking on this icon located on the top navigation bar. Then click on the library option and select Create Library from the drop-down menu. 

IMPORTANT: After naming your library, make sure to select Measurements as your library type. 

Step 6: Select all your measurement cards clicking all option on the measurements section panel. Click on the burger   icon next to any card and drag-drop them into your new created library.

To confirm if your measurements data successfully moved in your library, click again on the option menu in your library shortcut and select edit library.

This will bring you to your dedicated library page where you can further make any necessary changes to your measurements table if required. 

You have now successfully moved your measurements template to your new libraries.
