1. What is gantt chart
Gantt chart provides a graphical overview of the current state of your product development.
This report beautifully illustrates the progress of your product development stages through these horizontal timeline bars representing your set planned dates VS
the actual dates they were accomplished.
2. How to create a gantt chart
⚠️ PREREQUISITE
☑ Make sure to add your planned start and end dates before generating
the gantt chart. You can do that through time tracking tool.

Step 1: Click on the menu icon located on the top left corner of your account.
Step 2: Click on this Reports option from the dropdown menu.
Step 3: Click on + add report in the top navigation bar to generate a new report.
Step 4: A new window pop-up will appear to define your report criteria. Type in the name of the report and
select gantt chart in the report type field.
Step 5: In this object selection field you are going to filter the techpacks you wish to include in the report.
Select the source of your techpack search by techpack name itself, a specific folder, or through a folder.
type in your search query here.
IMPORTANT: Please enter at least 4 characters in the object name |
Step 6: Click filter and the system will list down all techpacks matching your search query.
Step 7: Click on add to add that techpack in the report. You can also select
add all to report to include the whole list.
Step 8: Click on generate report to generate the gantt chart.
The gantt chart will be generated with:
The stages - Each stage and its planned start and end date. Also, the actual start and end date will be shown in the chart
Percentage Completion - Each stage's percentage completed is indicated by the green bar. Learn more about how to add percentage completion to your stages.
3. What is time and action report
The critical path or TNA is a proper collaboration of time and action. It's a popular tool used in the apparel industry for tracking/monitoring planned milestones to ensure timely deliveries of a product.
A time and action (TNA or T&A) plan defines the ideal date/time period within which all major product development and production activities should occur to meet a scheduled delivery window.
You can generate this report by three filters: techpack, folder, and keyword.
Techpack - The report will be generated for the selected techpack.
Folder - The report will contain all the techpacks in the selected folder.
Keyword - The report will contain all the techpacks with your provided keywords.
4. How to generate time and action report
Step 1: Go to add reports and type the name of the report. Select the time & action option from the dropdown.
Step 2: Select the object from the dropdown that appears with which you want to filter the chart and
type the name of the object you selected in the space provided.
NOTE: Please enter at least 4 characters in the object name or otherwise the filter would not be activated. |
Step 3: Click on filter and the list of all the techpacks under that object will appear.
Step 4: Click on add to add that techpack in the report. You can also select
add all to report to include the whole list.
Step 5: Click on generate report to generate the time & action report.
The time and action report will be generated with:
The stages - Each stage and its planned start and
end date. Also, the actual start and date will be there.
Percentage Completion - Each stage's percentage completed is also mentioned. Learn more about how to add percentage completion to your stages.
Each techpack under the set filter appears as a separate row.
