There are 3 different card views available that you can switch to at any time while managing a design techpack. These are:
- Doc-View (or PDF view).
In this article you will learn more about the List-view and the following functions:
1. What is card list-view?
List-view is the tabular layout of the cards in your techpack. This view can also be used to reorder or add new cards.
But most importantly, switching to list-view provides functional material and measurement tables for your design to manage the BOM (Bill of Materials) & POM (Point of Measurements) size-chart & grading.
2. How to add cards as rows using the list-view
Similarly to grid-view, click on the + Add button on the control panel of the corresponding section. The new card will appear at the bottom of the table.
3. How to manage materials & measurements table columns
You can manage both material and measurement table columns by clicking on the icon located on their upper-right corners shown below.
To make adjustments in your table you may use the column manager as follows:
Add New Column: Click here to create additional table columns.
Re-order Column: Drag to reorder columns.
Hide/ Unhide Column: Hide columns you do not wish to print on your techpacks.
Delete Column: Remove columns that are no longer required.
You can also double-click on the column name to edit or rename them.
4. The difference between color & non-color columns and size & non-size columns
4a. Color vs non-color columns
In the materials table, all columns highlighted in green indicate the color-combos of your design. While the one in dark green is selected as the sample color. You can change the sample color by either clicking on the column header or by going to your techpack settings.
The non-colored columns (i.e., not in green) don't indicate any design colors.
You can switch any column from color to non-color (and vice -versa) using the icon located inside your column manager.
4b.Size vs non-size columns
To be able to utilize the grading function correctly in the measurements table you must first define your size, non-size columns and sample-size.
Similarly to the materials table, the size columns are highlighted in yellow while the colorless columns indicate the non-size columns. The dark yellow column indicates the sample size which can be changed by clicking on the column header or through the techpack settings.
You can switch any column from size to non-size (and vice versa) using the icon located inside your column manager.
4. How to preview tables in the PDF
Before printing, you can preview the final techpack PDF with your material and measurement tables. Click on the DOC VIEW button located on top-navigation bar and scroll down to view the pages of the document as shown below.
In case you cannot find the tables in your PDF make sure that the "Include Table" option is selected in the Document settings panel on the left of the PDF document.
