How to Install Shopify extension for Techpacker

With our simple Shopify extension, you can integrate and add and synchronize products, design sketches and techpacks with your Techpacker account. This way you can save time manually exporting and formatting files between the platforms.

Here is how you can do it in a few easy steps.

Step 1: From the side menu, go to Account & settings >  Organization settings > Integrations

 

Note: Make sure you have admin rights to both Techpacker and Shopify that you would like to connect.

 

 

 

 

Step 2: Click on CONNECT NOW, enter your shopify store name and click CONNECT. The name should exactly match your store name on shopify.  

 

Note: It is highly recommended to login to your shopify store on a separate tab before connecting  from Techpacker.

 

 

 

Step 3: You’ll be redirected to your Shopify Login page. (Skip this step if you have logged in to your Shopify account on a separate tab)

 

 

 

 

 

Step 4: Shopify will automatically redirect you to the App installation page. Click and confirm on this button to install the app. 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 5: Once you have successfully installed the app, you’ll see the message “Your Shopify Store (my-store.myshopify.com) is successfully integrated with Techpacker. You can close this tab/window now.”

 

 

 

 

Step 6: To check if your Shopify store has been successfully integrated with Techpacker, go back to the Organization settings page on Techpacker, and the button adjacent to the Shopify app should now say SHOW INFO. 

 

 

 

 

Step 7: Congratulations, now let’s start sending product data from Techpacker to Shopify. Pick any tech pack by using the checkbox and from the OPTIONS menu, select Send to Shopify. 

 

 

 

 

 

Note: There is a limitation at this point to send one techpack at a time. If you select multiple techpacks, it will reject the request.

 

 

Step 8:  Go to your Shopify products page, and it’ll be added as a draft so you can modify and make any changes if required before making the product active on Shopify. 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 9:  Finally, here’s more information on how the data is mapped together between Shopify and Techpacker:
