1.How to export a library
1a. As a .tpr file (Techpacker’s native format)
Who can use this feature?
Only Admins
What is a .tpr file?
.Tpr format files, our native Techpacker files, offer users the flexibility to export/import their tech pack data conveniently. This feature is particularly useful during account deactivation or reactivation.
To download a library or multiple libraries in the .tpr format follow these steps:
Step 1: Click this icon located on the top-left of your screen to slide open the options menu.
Step 2: Choose the Libraries option.
Step 3: This is your library page. Here you can see the library folders you have access.
Click on any folder to view the list of libraries inside them.
Step 4: Select the library or libraries you want to download.
Step 5: Click on the option menu located on the top navigation bar and select Export as .tpr
This is a native format of Techpacker, so can only be used on Techpacker
The selected techpack/ techpacks will be downloaded as a .zip file.
1b. As a .csv file
Who can use this feature?
PLM premium
Admins and Supervisors
To download a library in the .csv format follow these steps:
Step 1: Click this icon located on the top-left of your screen to slide open the options menu.
Step 2: Choose the LIBRARIES option.
Step 3:This is your library page. Here you can see the library folders you have access.
Click on any folder to view the list of libraries inside them.
Step 4: Select the library or libraries you want to download.
Step 5: Click on the option menu located on the top navigation bar and select Export as .csv
The downloaded .csv file does not include images.
All the cards and their information of the selected techpack/techpacks including the columns and the rows will be downloaded in the .csv format.
1c. As a .xlsx file
Who can use this feature?
PLM premium and PLM professional
You can download a library in the .xlsx format from Techpacker in two ways:
From the option icon
Step 1: Inside any of your library click on this Doc View option located on the top-right of your screen inside your library.
Step 2: Click on the versions option right next to doc settings.
Step 4: Select the version you would like to download in excel format. Learn how to create a version.
Step 5: Click on this option icon right next to the version and click on Download as Excel option from the menu as shown in gif below.
All the cards and their information including the columns and the rows will be downloaded in the .xlsx format with images.

Click on the download excel icon located under the versions tab. You can directly download the excel format from here.
1d. As a PDF
You can download library data as a PDF file by following these simple steps:
Step 1: Click this icon located on the top-left of your screen to slide open the options menu.
Step 2: Choose the Libraries option.
Step 3: This is your library page. Here you can see the library folders you have access to along with the team members in your organization.
Click on any folder to view the list of libraries inside them.
Step 4: Inside the library click on this Doc View option located on the top-right of your screen inside your library.
Step 5: Click on versions located on the top left of your screen. Select the version you would like to download in excel format. Learn how to create a version.
Click on this icon to download as shown in the gif below.
You can also download the PDF by clicking on this icon located on the top-right of your screen.

2. How to import a library
Follow these steps below to import your library or libraries data in our native .tpr format:
Step 1: Click this icon located on the top-left of your screen to slide open the options menu.
Step 2: Choose the LIBRARIES option.
Step 3: This is your library page. Here you can see the library folders you have access to in your organization.
Click on any folder where you would like to import the libraries
Step 4: Click on the option menu located on the top navigation bar and select Import techpacks to folder
Step 5: Click on choose file and select a .zip file you want to upload.
Step 5: Click on Import Libraries.
Your library or libraries will be imported in the selected folder.
